Liner can help prolong lip color and define your lip line before applying lipstick.
Apply to edge of lips to prevent feathering or all over lips to add staying power to lipstick.

Soften liner before applying to lips by drawing a few dashes on the back of your hand.

Tip for sharpening: Place liner in refrigerator for an hour or in freezer for about 10 minutes.
Cold liner has a firmer texture and is less likely to break against your sharpener blades.

Choose a sharpener specifically designed to sharpen lip liner and other cosmetic pencils.

Sharpen by pressing liner lightly into the sharpener using an even twisting motion against the blade.

Pressing too hard will cause liner to break off and become wedged in your sharpener.

Replace sharpener if your liner continues to break when you try to sharpen it.
Dull Blades will press against your liner and break it rather than shaving it to a clean point.
